Hi, I’m Mike.
I’ve been around golf my whole life — literally. My grandpa built a course, my mom ran one, and family outings always meant tee times. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized it’s the ultimate lifelong sport. That’s when I started taking it really seriously, and eventually, started teaching it.
I spent years coaching hockey and working as a technical writer in the tech world. But the pull toward golf, and helping others fall in love with it, never went away. I’ve taught players of all levels, competed in amateur tournaments, and planned more golf trips than I can count. Today, as a PGA Associate, I bring professional-level instruction with a personal touch.
Real estate came into the picture after a few too many people suggested, “You’d be great at this.” Turns out, they were right. I remember how overwhelming buying a home felt the first time, and I wanted to be the kind of broker who makes the process feel clear, achievable, and help my clients feel confident in the biggest purchase they’ll probably ever make.
That brings us to Home on the Range. After years as a technical writer, I wanted to build something that reflected what I love and value most: helping people and creating memorable experiences. Now, as a Certified PGA Associate and licensed real estate broker, I get to do just that. Whether you're buying a home or learning the game, I’m here to make the process simple, personal, and genuinely enjoyable.
When I’m not working, you’ll find me reading up on how to make golf more accessible to new players or putting in the yard with my 5-year-old daughter and 2-year-old son.
